01Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clarady. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and can enter into a binding agreement.

02Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and activity you authorize under your account.

You may not impersonate another person, access another person’s account without permission, or share access to bypass subscription restrictions.

Notify us at lauren@clarady.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

03Services Provided

Clarady offers assessments, personalized relationship insights, and AI-powered guidance to help you understand yourself, understand your partner, and navigate relationship moments.

Features may include:

InnerArc™

An individual profile based on your assessment responses.

Relationship archetype

An interpretation of relationship-related patterns and preferences.

Connection Map

Personalized insights into relationship dynamics.

Relationship Navigator

Guidance for relationship questions and situations.

Conflict Co-Pilot™

Guidance for understanding conflict and considering how to respond.

Daily Discovery

Personalized individual discoveries.

US Daily Discovery

Generated discoveries available to connected partners.

Features may depend on your subscription, partner connection, and the information available to Clarady.

Partner participation is optional. You can use Clarady on your own.

04Free and Paid Access

Clarady’s free tier includes:

• Daily Discovery.
• Your relationship archetype.
• Three Relationship Navigator sessions.

Additional access and features may require a paid subscription. Available plans, prices, billing periods, and included features are displayed before purchase.

We may change free features or introduce new offerings. Changes to paid services remain subject to these Terms and applicable law.

05Important Limits

Clarady provides relationship education, self-reflection tools, and general guidance. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, legal advice, or emergency services.

Using Clarady does not create a therapist-client, healthcare-provider, or other professional relationship.

Clarady does not guarantee improvements in communication, intimacy, compatibility, conflict resolution, or other personal or relationship outcomes.

The Services are not designed to determine whether someone is truthful, diagnose a partner, establish fault, or determine whether a relationship is safe.

Do not rely on Clarady for emergency assistance. If you face immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

06AI-Generated Insights

Clarady uses artificial intelligence and automated processing to generate profiles, interpretations, suggestions, and guidance.

Depending on the feature, outputs may draw on your assessment responses, current inputs, relevant saved context, and information available through a connected account.

You acknowledge that:

• Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
• Clarady does not independently verify descriptions of events or another person’s intentions.
• Information you provide about a partner reflects your perspective and is not equivalent to their own assessment.
• Profiles and archetypes describe possible patterns rather than fixed identities or clinical findings.
• Similar outputs may be generated for different users.

Use your judgment when considering or acting on an output. You remain responsible for your decisions and communications.

07Partner Linking and Visibility

Connecting Accounts

Partner linking is optional. You authorize a connection by sharing your connection code with your intended partner for use in linking accounts.

Keep your code private unless you intend to authorize that connection. Do not use someone else’s code without their permission.

What Your Connected Partner Can See

Private conversations are not used to generate US Daily Discovery.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect from your partner through Settings.

Previously generated US Daily Discoveries remain visible after disconnection.

Anything you independently copy, screenshot, send, or otherwise share may remain accessible to the recipient after disconnection or account deletion.

08Your Content and Privacy

You retain any ownership rights you have in the photos, assessment responses, messages, reflections, and other material you submit (“Your Content”).

You grant Clarady a nonexclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and process Your Content as reasonably necessary to provide the Services you use, maintain security, and comply with law, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

For connected features, this includes displaying your profile photo and relationship archetype to your connected partner and providing the shared US Daily Discovery.

This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to Clarady or independently authorize unrelated advertising or AI-model training uses.

You are responsible for having the rights and lawful basis needed to submit Your Content. Avoid including unnecessary identifying or sensitive information about other people.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.

Clarady does not currently collect voice recordings.

09Payments and Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The applicable store processes payment and manages billing.

Before purchase, you will be shown the price, subscription period, renewal terms, and any introductory offer.

For automatically renewing subscriptions, your subscription renews at the disclosed rate and frequency unless you cancel before renewal under the applicable store’s requirements.

Applicable taxes may be charged.

We will provide notice of price changes and obtain consent where required by law or the applicable store.

10Cancellation and Return to the Free Tier

You must cancel through the store where you purchased:

Apple

Manage and cancel the subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.

Google Play

Manage and cancel the subscription through Google Play’s subscription settings.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Paid access continues for any remaining period to which you are entitled under the applicable store’s rules.

When your paid subscription expires, or the store ends your entitlement following an approved refund or revocation, your account returns to the free tier.

Deleting the app or your Clarady account does not automatically cancel a store-managed subscription. Cancel through Apple or Google Play to stop future charges.

Cancellation alone does not request or issue a refund.

1130-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Clarady offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription purchase, regardless of which subscription plan you choose.

You may request a refund even if you have used Clarady or accessed paid features.

To qualify, submit your refund request within 30 days of your first subscription charge.

The guarantee applies only to your first subscription purchase. It does not apply to renewals or subsequent subscription purchases.

Requesting a Refund

Submit your request through the store where you purchased:

Apple

Use Apple’s refund request process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Google Play

Use Google Play’s refund request process.

Apple or Google processes the request and determines approval and payment under its applicable procedures. Clarady cannot guarantee that a store will approve a refund.

If you experience difficulty submitting your request, contact lauren@clarady.app for assistance.

Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

12License to Use Clarady

Subject to these Terms, Clarady grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Services for your own noncommercial purposes.

The Services are licensed, not sold. This license does not grant ownership of our software, frameworks, or intellectual property.

Applicable app marketplace terms and any separate application license also apply. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

13Intellectual Property and Outputs

Clarady and its licensors retain their rights in the Services, including software, designs, frameworks, algorithms, branding, and original content.

This includes InnerArc™, Conflict Co-Pilot™, and other Clarady names and tools, to the extent protected by applicable law.

You may use generated outputs for personal, noncommercial purposes, including discussing or sharing them with your partner or a professional you choose.

This permission does not transfer ownership of Clarady’s underlying technology or guarantee that an AI-generated output is unique, copyrightable, or free from third-party rights.

You may not reproduce or commercially distribute Clarady’s assessments, frameworks, or proprietary materials without written permission, except where applicable law permits.

14Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Services unlawfully or infringe another person’s rights.
• Impersonate someone or access an account without authorization.
• Use Clarady to harass, threaten, stalk, coerce, or exploit another person.
• Submit content you have no right to provide.
• Interfere with security, bypass access restrictions, or introduce malicious code.
• Scrape or systematically extract content without authorization.
• Reverse-engineer the Services except where applicable law permits.
• Resell access or commercially exploit the Services without permission.
• Present generated outputs as verified findings about another person or professional advice from Clarady.

15Service Changes and Availability

We may update, add, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.

If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will provide any notice, remedy, or refund required by applicable law.

Third-party services and app marketplaces may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that outputs will be accurate or produce a particular outcome.

These exclusions do not remove mandatory consumer protections or the express refund offer in Section 11.

17Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarady LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the Services during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

18Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create a security risk, misuse the Services, or if action is required by law.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or the Services.

You can delete your account within the app. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google Play.

Data retention and deletion are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property provisions, applicable payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law.

19Governing Law

These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in a court available under applicable law.

20Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve.

For material changes, we will provide notice through the Services, by email, or another appropriate method, as required by applicable law.

The notice will identify the effective date. Where affirmative acceptance is required, we will obtain it. Otherwise, continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription.

21General Terms

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These Terms and purchase terms expressly incorporated at checkout govern your use of the Services. Our Privacy Policy separately explains our personal-information practices.
